Manage configuration

NOTE
The switch does not perform name resolution (DNS).
Make sure that you enter the address as a numerical IP address without
any leading spaces, etc.
Under Configuration Management, you can permanently save the current con-
figuration of the switch or perform a factory reset of the switch.
Permanently saving the current configuration of the switch
Click
Save
.
The configuration will be kept if the switch is rebooted.
Resetting the switch to factory settings
Click
Reset
.
NOTE
Clicking
Reset
will delete all of the current configuration data!
You can use
Transfer
to load configuration data from a server or store config-
uration data on a server via FTP or TFTP.
Loading the current configuration from a server
Enter the following data in the relevant fields:
Server IP address
Username
Password
Select the server type (TFTP or FTP).
Select the transfer direction
Server to device
.
Select a file.
Click
Transfer
.
