Making changes under the IP configuration menu item



The following can be changed if needed:



IP address



Subnet mask



Default gateway



The following can be selected under IP assignment:



Static



DHCP



BOOTP

The setting is applied immediately but is not permanently saved.

Saving settings



Click

APPLY

The latest changes will be saved.

NOTE

If a change is made to the static address, the IP address is not checked.

If you enter an invalid IP address

, it will only be possible to reach and con-

figure the switch using the serial interface.



Make sure that you enter the IP address correctly.
