ID of the switch in the network
As-delivered state
When delivered, the IP address of the switch includes the following data:
IP address 192.168.100.2/24
or
IP address 192.168.100.2 / subnet mask 255.255.555.0
Configuring the switch
from the work computer
It may be necessary to change the IP settings of a workstation computer in or-
der to use it to access the switch.

Configuring the switch from the work computer
Change the IP address of the workstation computer to a value between
192.168.0.2 and 192.168.255.255.
You will then be able to access and configure the switch using your brows-
er.
Configuring the static IP address of the switch using a PROFINET DCP
tool
Install a PROFINET DCP tool, e.g., SIEMENS PRONETA
Change the static IP address of the switch.

If you type the address in the command line, make sure that you do not
include the delimiter at the end of the line.
