9. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, disengage the
retaining tabs that secure the D-pillar trim panel to the
retaining clips in the D-pillar and remove the trim panel.
10. Remove the trim plug (1) from the upper c-pillar trim.
CAUTION: The upper trim plug must be removed and
discarded to gain access to the upper retaining screw before
attempting to remove the trim panel. Failure to remove the
trim screw may result in damage to the trim panel or the
retaining clip.
11. Using a small drill (2) approximately 3 mm (7/64 ), drill a hole
into the trim plug (1).
