21. locate center line of roof, cut out template as indicated,
center template and tape in place.
22. Carefully center punch at the two locations for the antenna
mounting holes. Remove and discard template.
CAUTION: Do not drill more than a 6 mm (1/4 in.), failure to do so will result in damage to the vehicles headliner.
23. Drill a 3mm (1/8") pilot hole at the marked locations.
24. Drill a 5mm (13/64") diameter hole at the mark closest
to the vehicles liftgate opening.
25. Using a hole saw, drill a 19mm (3/4") hole at the mark
forward of the previous hole drilled at the second
mark.
26. Clean and prep surface
27. Debur both of the holes.
28. Apply Mopar® Corrosion Inhibitor, p/n 82300508, to
the bare metal surface of the drilled holes.
29. Route connector through hole and set antenna in
place.
30. Install fasteners and tighten to spec. 9 Nm (80 in-lbs.)
31. Connect antenna cable to extension cable and route cable
down the left D-piller.
32. Secure the antenna extension cable to the vehicles body
electrical harness.
33. Route the cable forward through the vehicle while taping
to the body electrical harness.
