26. Using a trim stick or equivalent, disengage the upper D-pillar
trim retaining clips (2).
27. Carefully disengage the upper D-pillar trim end tab (5) from the
rear header trim plate.
28. Disconnect the power liftgate D-Pillar switch and third
row power folding seat switch electrical connectors (3) (if
equipped).
29. Remove the upper D-pillar trim from the liftgate opening.
30. Remove the third row upper turning loop anchor bolt.
31. Using a small

at bladed screwdriver or equivalent, carefully pry off the SRS Airbag logo button at the C-pillar and
remove the screw.
32. Using a trim stick or equivalent, gently pry out on the upper C-pillar trim (1) and remove.
33. Remove the six retaining screws from the passenger quarter trim panel.
34. Position aside the quarter time panel.
35. Cut out the template.
36. Center the template on the rear of the roof, aligning the
template with the roof edge.
37. Center punch the two holes marked on the template.
38. Remove the template.
CAUTION: Do not drill more than a 6 mm (1/4 in.), failure to do
so will result in damage to the vehicles headliner.
39. Drill a 3 mm (1/8 in.) pilot hole at each of the center punched
locations.
40. Drill the rear hole to 5 mm (13/64 in.).
41. Drill the front hole to 19 mm (3/4 in.).
42. Debur both of the holes.
43. Apply Mopar® Corrosion Inhibitor, p/n 82300508, to the bare
metal surface of the drilled holes.
