Operation
Once installed HES begins to operate immediately. Depending upon environmental conditions,
it can be expected to operate unattended for extended periods of time. No calibration is
required.
HES Status Information
There is a wide range of status information available in the HES. The types of information can
be broadly grouped into system status and HART device status. Most status data is reported on
the webpages and in the MODBUS Register Map.
HES System Status
Status LEDs
The LEDs provide an indication of the device's operating status without the need to
communicate with the unit. There is one Ready LED and one or four Channel LEDs (depending
on the model). See table 6.1 for LED status information.
