5.10.3 Offline auto tuning for a PM motor (motor constants tuning)
The offline auto tuning for a PM motor enables the optimal operation of a PM motor.
What is offline auto tuning?
Under PM motor control, setting motor constants automatically (offline auto tuning) enables optimal
operation of motors even when motor constants vary or when the wiring distance is long. IPM and
SPM motors other than IPM motor MM-EFS/MM-THE4 can also be used.
For the offline auto tuning under Advanced magnetic flux vector control, refer to page 5-45.
