14. Scanning a Large Partitioned Document for Copying

Separate Scanning

When a document set is too large to load the entire thing on the document feeder at one time, the set can
be divided into smaller parts and copied with paging and function (such as distribution numbering)
continuity preserved.

NOTE
• The Book Scanner or the Duplexing Document Feeder is required to use this function.
• Scanning is suspended when the memory is full. In this case, press the Start key to print that part of

the document already in memory. Then continue scanning.

Place the document on the Book Scanner one
page at a time starting with the first page.
