Power Network Application Trainer

– Earthing / Grounding network impedance measurement

Measuring procedure:

1. Select proper switch position on the training module:

2. Under

Test

function select the

PGWT

measurement method

3. Connect measuring cables according the connection diagram

- connect the black test probe to H (C1) and GUARD terminal and other part to

the

“current probe”

- connect the blue test probe to E(C2) terminal and other part to the

pylon

- fit the S-Flex clamp around

all four foots

Note: Current for all tower foots have to be measured!

4. Setup the parameters, test frequency and number of turnings

5. Start the measurement by pressing START key

on the instrument or icon

on the LCD
