Prepare your system
Follow the steps below carefully to prepare your system for DigiSuite LX
MAX installation.
°Important Do not install your DigiSuite LX MAX card set in your
system before carrying out a standard Windows 2000 installation and
configuring the display as detailed below.
Install Windows 2000
Install Windows 2000 following the instructions provided with the
software.
¯Note To carry out the installation and configuration procedures that
follow, you must log onto an account on your Windows 2000 system that
has Administrator privileges. For details, consult the appropriate Microsoft
documentation.
Install the Matrox display driver from your DigiSuite
CD
After installing Windows 2000, install the Matrox display driver provided
on your DigiSuite CD before running DigiUtils Setup.

To install your display driver:
1 Insert the DigiSuite CD in your CD-ROM drive, or if your CD is
already inserted, double-click
My Computer , then double-click
Compact Disc .
2 From the DigiSuite CD menu, choose Install the driver for your
Matrox display card .
Set your display resolution
Before you can install your DigiSuite software, you should configure your
display resolution to
1024×768 pixels
with either
High Color (16 bit)
or
True Color (32 bit)
. You should also set your Display Properties to use
Small Fonts
and one of the Windows Standard schemes. To do this, right-
click your Windows desktop background, then choose
Properties >
Settings
.
