8.11  Motor Alternation 

 

It is a function that can extend the life of the motor through M/C alternation sequence. 

 

In many industrial pumping applications, two identical pumps are used for the same job. 

A standby unit is available in case the first pump fails. However, the main motor pump 
might deteriorate and provide no safety margin. Motor alternation function prevents this 
by assuring both pumps to operate with equal run time. 
 

   

 

 

This function can be used in normal operation as well as PID. 

 

In PID mode, the timer counts-up even in sleep, LVT, BX state. 

  When 1 motor is damaged and the setting at 30_Alternation Sel. is set to
