NOTICE

Damages to the guide wheels and increased wear at the pivot point of the pick-up if the
lowering of the pick-up is not limited

If the lowering of the pick-up is not limited by means of the depth limiters (4), the guide wheels
may be damaged or there will be an increased wear at the pivot point of the pick-up when
passing deep furrows.

The working height of the pick-up can be limited downward manually by moving the depth
limiters (4) on both sides of the machine so that the crops can be taken up without using the
guide wheels,

Crop press roller unit

BPG000-017

The crop press roller unit (3) and the intake roller (1) ensure the regulation when conveying the
crops. They ensure that the crops are collected regularly by the pick-up.

The height of the crop press roller unit can be adapted to the height of the swath by means of
the supporting chain (4),

The bearing pressure of the crop press roller (2) on the swath can be set by means of springs
(5),

Cutting unit

The machine has a cutting unit with cutting rotor and fixed blades. Cutting serves to improve
further processing of the big bale and to increase the baling density. The blades can be
hydraulically swivelled out of the feed channel from the tractor if there are any crop blockages.
Each blade is protected individually against overload. The machine can also be used without
blades. The cutting rotor then takes over the function of a conveyor between the pick-up and the
pre-bale channel. The blades are subdivided into two groups: the upper and the lower blade
group
