BiG Pack 870 HDP XC
Original Operating Instructions 150000760_00_en
The appropriate valves must be activated to carry out a function (e. g. lifting /lowering bale
chute). The diagram “emergency manual operation - overview” shows the valves to be
switched. In the following, an example on the basis of the comfort version is described.
Lifting/lowering bale chute
ü
The PTO shaft is switched off.
ü
All control units are in neutral position.
ü
All machine parts have come to a complete stop.
ü
The machine is shut down and safeguarded,
.
INFORMATION
After executing the emergency manual operation the star wheel screws must be unscrewed
entirely again!
For version “Lifting” (cutting unit/support jack/bale chute):
The control valve must be
kept pressed after executing the function until the knurled head screws for releasing the
valves are entirely screwed out again.
Lift
Screw in the star wheel screw on valve (K3, K4) “Bale chute”.
Start tractor engine and pressurise the control unit.
Using a pointed object, press in the magnetic plunger of valve (K1) and hold it pressed until
the star wheel screw of valve (K03, K04) “bale chute” is unscrewed.
Lowering
Screw in the star wheel screw on valve (K3, K4) “Bale chute”
Start tractor engine and pressurise the control unit.
Using a pointed object, press in the magnetic plunger of valve (K2) "Control valve" and hold
it pressed until the bale chute is lowered.
Unscrew the star wheel screw on valve (K3, K4) “Take out bale chute”.
9.21.1
Regulating baling force during emergency manual operation
In case the electronic control system of the baling pressure fails, the machine can continue
working in emergency operation for a short time if the baling pressure is set manually.
Setting the baling pressure
NOTICE
Exceeding the baling force may damage the machine.
Without electronic control, the maximum force of pressure can be exceeded. This will not be
prevented by an error message or an electronic regulation. This may cause substantial
damage to the machine.
After finishing this work, unscrew the knurled head screw (3) completely.
