3.6 PRINT CONDITION Settings
The procedure for setting printing parameters for each of the diagnostic devices connected is
described below.
Following items for PRINT CONDITION needs to be set.
• S21 STAMP SELECT : This setting determines whether or not to print the date as a stamp.
TIME/DATE
"ON" or "OFF" may be selected. default setting : ON
• S22 STAMP SELECT : This settings determines whether or not to print the printed sheet count

• S23 STAMP SELECT : This settings determines whether or not to print the patient ID as a stamp.
PATIENT ID
"ON" or "OFF" may be selected. default setting : ON
• S24 STAMP SELECT : This settings determines whether or not to print the ID and page ID as a
SCU ID/PAGE ID
stamp."ON" or "OFF" may be selected. default setting : ON
• S25 STAMP SELECT : This settings determines whether or not to print the message print

• S26 STAMP SELECT : Sets the print format of the patient ID and the patient name.
PATIENT DATA
: "ASCII" (alphabetical input) or "2BYTE" (full-size character input) may be
selected. default setting : ASCII
• S27 STAMP MESSAGE : Sets the message to be printed as a stamp. A maximum of 32 alphanumerical
characters may be input.
default setting : blank
• S28 STAMP DIRECT : Sets the stamp position.
"UPPER," "LOWER," "RIGHT" or "LEFT" may be selected.
default setting : LOWER
• S29 YEAR FORMAT : Sets the year format.
"YY" (year expressed in 2 digits) or "YYYY" (year expressed in 4 digits) may be
selected. default setting : YY
• S2A MONTH FORMAT : Sets the month format.
"NUMERIC" (month expressed as a numerical value) or "TEXT" (month
expressed in abbreviated alphabetical character form) may be selected.
default setting : TEXT
• S2B DATE FORMAT : Sets the date format.
"TIME+DATE" (expressed in the order time, date), "DATE+TIME" (expressed in the
order date, time), "TIME" (time only) or "DATE" (date only) may be
selected. default setting : TIME+DATE
• S2C REQ. IMGSIZE : Sets the size of one frame.
"EFFECTIVE" (size specified) or "INVALID" (size not specified) may be
selected. default setting : EFFECTIVE
• S2D EXPANSION CHAR : This setting determines whether or not to expand the patient ID and name font
to a 2-line display.
This setting is valid only when "CT/MRI" has been selected under the DICOM SCU
S17 BORDER SIZE setting.
"ON" or "OFF" may be selected. default setting : OFF
• S2E EDGE ENHANCE : This setting determines whether or not to show characters in the image in an
easily readable format.
Selection of "ON" will result in characters being shown slightly brighter.
"ON" or "OFF" may be selected. default setting : OFF
The S26 setting is valid
only when S23 is set to
ON.
