3.2 Starting the Service Maintenance Mode
The procedure for starting up the DRYPRO 771 service maintenance mode is described below.

Remove the maintenance key cover from the
operation panel.

Press the [maintenance] key.
• The message "U00 FILM DATA" will be displayed
in the message display window.

Use the [menu/select] key [

] to choose "U90
PASSWORD."
• The message "U90 PASSWORD" will be displayed
in the message display window.

Press the [enter] key.
• The message "INPUT PASSWORD" will be
displayed in the message display window.
U91 INPUT PASSWORD/.

Input the password using the ten-keypad.
• The input password will not be displayed on
screen.
Asterisks (*) will be displayed in place of the actual
characters input.
• "5678" is fixed as the password and cannot be
changed.
• If a mistake is made during input, use the [exit] key
to delete input and type in the password again.

Press the [enter] key.
• The message "U90 PASSWORD" will be displayed
in the message display window and the service
maintenance mode invoked.
• Starting up the service maintenance mode will
result in addition of "U80 SERVICE MODE" to the
maintenance mode menu as an item available for
selection.

Once the service maintenance mode has been started up, it will remain activated
either until it is exited or until the DRYPRO 771 power supply is shut down.
