About this task

Open Bite is used for sending data to your lab for a night guard and

other such appliances. Follow the instructions below to use the Open Bite

workflow.

Steps

1. Select Open Bite as the workflow.
2. Scan the Upper and Lower arches following the normal procedure.
3. Have the patient bite on the bite registration appliance of your choice.
4. Select the Buccal Bite layer and scan the buccal bite with the bite

partially open.

Results

The system attempts to align the models automatically. Manually align them

if needed.
