8.3.3 Scan settings
• When the Defer Model Generation box is checked, all of the models will
be generated all at once when the Generate Model button is clicked.
When the model generation is deferred, you can scan everything you
need without waiting for the models to process and can do that when you
are finished scanning. When the box is unchecked, the models will be
generated one at a time when you switch to a different scan layer/type.
• When the Indicate Low Data Density box is checked, the Low Density
color overlay is displayed by default after the models are generated.
See “Low Data Density” on section "Top and bottom buttons pressed
simultaneously" on page 29 for more information.
• If you uncheck the Scan Sounds box, you can remove the
sound feedback while scanning. This sound can also be adjust
via your laptop’s volume control. To change the scanning music,
go to C:\Program Files\PlanCAD\bin\Windows_App\PlanCAD_Data\
StreamingAssets\CustomMusic and save your file there. The software
should be able to read .wav .mp3 or .ogg files, and if multiple are
provided it will pick one at random.
• If you uncheck the Alignment Sounds box, you can remove the sound
feeback for automatic alignment when scanning the buccal bite. This
sound can also be adjust via your laptop’s volume control.
• With the Live View Size slider you can adjust the size of the window
which shows the scanner’s current position. See "Scanning live view" on
page 33 for more information.
8.3.4 Margin settings
• Margin Line Size - determines the thickness of the displayed line. Click in
the field to change the value.
• Margin Line Point Size - determines the size of the dots on the margin
line. Click in the field to change the value.
8.3.5 Colours
Click a color swatch to bring up the color picker.
