The session timer under Scan Tools shows how long you have been

scanning on this case.

9.11 Saving live view image

About this task

Follow these instructions to take a snapshot of live view.

Steps

1. Click the bottom button until you hear the camera shutter sound.

This automatically saves an HD snapshot of the Live View and adds the

picture to the patient’s file. The file is saved in the patient's directory as

a .png image. This allows you to easily share photos with your dental

team or use them as a patient education tool.
The photos are available under Patient Data in the File module and

under Photo in the 2D module.

9.12 Evaluating model

About this task

Follow these instructions to evaluate the model before generating it.

Steps

1. Rotate the model to look for low data areas in key areas: the preparation,

interproximal contacts, etc.
In the example below, there is missing data on the interproximal area

and extraneous data from a finger accidentally being scanned.
