Exposing the battery

CAUTION!

Trapping hazard

There is a risk of trapping when you close the battery cover.

u

Make sure there is nothing between the battery cover and the truck when you
close the battery cover.

WARNING!

An unsecured truck can cause accidents

Parking the truck on an incline or with a raised load handler is dangerous and is
strictly prohibited.

u

Always park the truck on a level surface. In special cases the truck may need to be
secured with wedges.

u

Always fully lower the mast and forks.

u

Select a place to park where no other people are at risk of injury from lowering
forks.

Requirements

– Park the truck on a level surface.

Procedure

• Lower the load handler to the ground, see page 168.
• Turn the industrial truck off with the key switch (8) and remove the key.
• Press the Emergency Disconnect switch (9) down.
