WARNING!

Risk of injury and material damage when operating the symmetrical sideshifter
with integrated fork positioner

Due to the special design of the sideshifter with integrated fork positioner, the
operator must ensure that the forks and sideshifter do not extend into the area of the
operator position.
The fork positioner is used to extend the forks beyond the geometry of the sideshift
frame.

To avoid injury to personnel and damage to the truck and load, trained operators
must handle the attachment with particular care.

Requirements

– Prepare the truck for operation, see

page 139 or see page 140.

Procedure

• Press (104) under the "Fork adjustment /

sideshift menu change" symbol (199).

The display changes from the menu item
“Fork adjustment / sideshift menu
change” (199) to "Fork sideshift" (197) or
"Fork adjustment" (198).

under the "fork sideshift" symbol (197).

lever (113) clockwise.

• To shift the forks to the right:

lever (113) anti-clockwise.

The traverse speed of the forks is in
proportion to the movement of the
"Hydraulic functions" control lever (113).

Both forks move evenly to the right or left.
