Position the banjo bolt with the connection and seal rings. Mount and tighten the
banjo bolt.
Guideline
Banjo bolt M10x1 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft)

Connect the pressure measurement tool, without t-plate, to the special tool.

Check the engine oil level. ( p. 158)
Danger

When running the engine, always make sure there is sufficient venti-
lation, and do not start or run the engine in a closed space without an
effective exhaust extraction system.

Start the engine and let it warm up.

Check the engine oil pressure.

» If the measured value is less than the specification:

Replace the oil filter. Check the oil pump for wear. Check all oil holes for
free flow.

Switch off the engine.
Warning
Danger of burns Some vehicle components get very hot when the machine
is driven.

Wear appropriate protective clothing and safety gloves. In case of burns,
rinse immediately with lukewarm water.

Remove the special tools.

Mount and tighten screw

