3 Installation

Issue 04 (2019-06-25)

Procedure

Step 1

Remove the top cover from the power unit, and remove the bracket of the battery grounding
failure detector.

Removing the cover and bracket

Step 2

Mount the battery grounding failure detector onto the bracket and reinstall the bracket in the
cabinet.

Installing a battery grounding failure detector

Step 3

Connect cables.

Connect the power cables of the battery grounding failure detector to copper bars U and
N on the top of the cabinet.

Connect the signal cable of the battery grounding failure detector to the dry contact card
(MUE05A) of the control module of the power unit.

Connect the transformer and battery grounding failure detector.
