Setting NetEco parameters
NetEco server
: Set the IP address or domain name of the NetEco server, or select the server in the
drop-down list box. When selecting the server in the list box, the
NetEco
parameter settings will be
automatically displayed.
When the SmartLogger connects to the Huawei NMS, retain the default value 16100 for
Port
number
. When the SmartLogger connects to the third-party NMS, set
Port number
according to
the server port enabled in a third-party NMS.
In most cases, set
Address mode
to
Comm. Address
. If the devices connected to the six RS485
ports of the SmartLogger have duplicate communications addresses, you must set
Address mode
to
Logical address
.
If
SSL encryption
is set to
Disable
, data will be transmitted without being encrypted, which may
result in user data theft. Therefore, exercise caution when deciding to set
SSL encryption

Disable
.
If
Second challenge authentication
is set to
Disable
, the second challenge authentication result will
not be verified, which may result in user data theft. Therefore, exercise caution when deciding to set

Obtain the documents about security certificate from the NMS.

Set Modbus TCP parameters for the SmartLogger to communicate with a third-party NMS.
Because of permission restriction, log in as
Advanced User

to access the target page.
