Engine Servicing

(1) PISTON JET

(1) PISTON JET (2) BOLT

Install the piston jet to the left crankcase.

Install and tighten the bolt to the specified torque.

Torque: 10 N•m (1.0 kgf•m, 7 lbf•ft)

(1) LEFT CRANKCASE

(1) RIGHT CRANKCASE

Crankcase Assembly

Clean the crankcase with solvent, and check for
crack or other damage.
Clean mating surfaces before assembling and check
for wear or damage.
If the minor roughness or irregularities on the
crankcase mating surfaces, dress them with an oil
stone.

(1) OIL SEAL (2) O-RING
(3) COUNTERSHAFT COLLAR

(1) BALANCER OIL SEAL
(2) CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL

Apply grease to the new dust seal lips.
Install the countershaft oil seal.
Install the new O-ring into the countershaft collar.
Install the countershaft collar into the countershaft
oil seal.

Install the right balancer oil seal and right crankshaft
oil seal.
