Removal

Remove the clutch outer (page 4-46).
Remove the drive sprocket (page 3-17).

Prevent dust and dirt from entering the crankcase.
Clean crankcase around the gearshift spindle.

Remove the bolt/nut and gearshift arm from the
gearshift spindle.

crankcase.

Remove the bolts and transmission assembly from
the crankcase.

Remove the dowel pins.

Remove the shifter collar.
Remove the bolts and guide plate assembly.
