Removing and Replacing the Top Cover

You must remove the enclosure from its rack in order to remove the top cover. With
the top cover removed, you have access to virtually all the internal components.

Removing Cables and Front Bezel

1.

Shut down the operating system, turn off system power by pressing the power switch on
the operator control panel, and attach your antistatic wrist strap.

2.

Go to the rear of the cabinet, locate the back panel of the

AlphaServer

TS15 enclosure,

and disconnect both power connectors. Also, disconnect the ground cable and all other
cables from the enclosure.

3.

As show in the next figure, loosen the thumbscrews

to open the front door. Remove

the four screws

that fasten the front bezel

to the enclosure’s face panel

Remove the bezel and set it aside.
