Adjusting the metering
disc The retainer of the metering disc can be adjusted axially so that the metering disc
has the correct distance to the housing and to the separator.
The metering disc must be locked with the rotary handle.
1. Remove the cotter pin.
2. Move the metering disc as closely as possible to the metering chamber. How-
ever, is must rotate freely and not grind axially or radially on the housing.
3. It must be approximately flush with the housing and the separator:
An angle of rotation from one hole to the next (1) causes an axial feed of 0.16 mm.
4. Insert the cotter pin.
NOTE
If the cotter pin is not inserted, the metering disc will be pressed against the hous-
ing during use and lock up!
As a result, no seed is placed, or the seed quantity and placement is undefined. To
loosen the blockage, refer to the chapter
Troubleshooting and the operating in-
structions for the drill controls.
Changing the metering
disc
1. Open the quick closure and remove the removable half of the housing.

2. Hold the metering disc against it and turn the rotary handle toward the left to
the stop position (1).
3. Remove the metering disc.
