9 Coulter pressure

During drilling the weight of the frame presses the coulter discs into the ground un-
til the depth guide rollers rest on the ground.

Hydraulic coulter pressure

The hydraulic cylinders for the coulter pressure transfer additional pressure on the
drill units, see chapter

1. Adjust the coulter pressure on the terminal, see operating instructions for the

drill controls as well as

AutoForce

2. Check the activation of the coulter pressure on the pressure gauge.

Mechanical coulter
pressure

Springs are attached in the area of the tractor tracks. This can compensate the
higher compaction caused by the tractor tracks.

Coulter pressure springs

With the two bores in the bracket and the two bores in the parallel guide the
coulter pressure can be increased in 4 steps.

Front possibility = Pos. 1

Rear possibility = Pos. 4

The coulter pressure applied increases further in this area by the following values:
