Danger of injury caused by rotating press rollers

Do not step on the rotating press rollers.

Adjusting the
consolidation

1. Slightly lift the machine.

2. Pull the adjustment lever back out of the locking gate and engage it in the

new position.

NOTE

Adjusting the lever toward the rear increases the consolidation in four levels from 8
to 55 kg.

Set the spring pre-tension equally on all drill units.

Check the coulter pressure and the seed placement with every change to the press
rollers.
Any change of setting can affect the seed placement.

Variants

Select between different press rollers depending on the type of soil:

• Rubber press rollers – narrow version

• Rubber press rollers – wide version

• Rubber (narrow) / finger press wheel

• Rubber (narrow) / spike press wheel

• Profiled press rollers

• suitable for maize, sunflower, soy, (sorghum, sugar beets)

• recommended on medium soils

The width of the gap between the rollers can be adjusted.
