NOTE
During transportation over long distances or on very bumpy roads, the fertiliser in-
side hopper may solidify. Before starting work, the fertiliser must be free flowing.
Fertiliser should only be filled in when the machine is in the field or it may have to
be loosened again, e.g. by slightly banging against the hopper wall.
7.3 Central distributor (MTS)
In the central distributor (MTS meaning M ain T ank S upply) the seed is distributed
from the hopper to the individual metering units.

NOTE
We recommend adding a mixture of talcum (80%) and graphite (20%) to the seed
(see accessory pack of the machine).
This is beneficial for metering quality, torque demand, wear and static charge.
Ø
Add an amount of 35-70 ml per 100 l see or 25-50 ml per seed hopper (70 l).
Ø Mix the agent thoroughly with the seed.
Ø
Never exceed the recommended quantity.
You may slightly increase the quantity in the event of moist or comparatively
small seed if necessary.
Ø
Never use pure graphite as this causes malfunctions on the sensors.
Checks and maintenance Error messages in the drill controls may be caused by air losses in the MTS System or
in the Overpressure range.
1. Check all hoses and connections every day for leaktightness and firm seating.
2. Clean the distributor weekly.
Cleaning the central

In case of contamination or blockage, the central distributor can be cleaned also
while the seed hopper is full.
