Attach the 2 wire ends of the standard lamp to 
the lamp holder 
posts.

The positive (+) lead goes to 
the positive (red) side of the 
holder.

The negative (–) 
lead goes to the 
negative (black) 
side of the holder.

The nipple of the 
lamp should point 
upward.

Make sure the the filament is vertically centered over the fixture.
