Inspecting the
ABS ECU
[HINO-DX]
1. Set the starter key to the
"LOCK" position.
2. Connect the diagnosis tool
(HINO-DX) to the vehicle.
3. Set the starter key to the "ON"
position.
4. Select [Brake] on the diagnosis
tool screen.
5. In [Fault Information], check if
any DTC related to the vehicle
speed sensor system is
detected.
DTC is
detected from
the ABS: Go to
YES.
DTC is not
detected from
the ABS: Go to
NO.
Perform trou-
bleshooting for
each DTC of
ABS ECU.
Go to step 2.

Inspecting the
signal line of
PCU wire har-
ness (lower
side) for short
circuit
1. Set the starter key to the
"LOCK" position.
2. Disconnect the HV ECU3 con-
nector.
3. For the 18th terminal of PCU
harness (24P) lower-side con-
nector, inspect the signal line of
PCU wire harness (lower side)
for short circuit. (See "Inspect-
ing the PCU harness signal line
for short circuit.")

itor [Vehicle speed] while driv-
ing at the speed of 20 km/h.
