Step Action
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARDS EXIST.
ELECTRIC SHOCK CAN CAUSE SERIOUS OR FATAL INJURY.

Carry out Power OFF Sequence.
Wait for 2 minutes. This ensures that the capacitors have discharged to a safe level.

ISOLATE AND LOCK OUT THE MAINS SUPPLY TO THE LASER.

Unlock and open the Laser Head lid.

Make sure that the hose is connected to the Beam Dump housing.

Unlock and open the front door.

Using the handle located on the Cooler assembly Tray, pull the tray out half way.

Remove the yellow cap from the top of the Reservoir Tank.
CAUTION
Always use new Coolant. Do not fill Laser with used Coolant as it could be
contaminated.

Fill the Reservoir Tank with Analar Grade 3 water until level reaches max line on
reservoir. Refer to the water specification in Section 3.3.2.2

Replace the yellow cap to the top of the reservoir tank.

If necessary, connect Cooler Node cable assembly.

Carry out the Power ON Sequence.

Allow the cooling system to run for 1 minute.

Carry out the Power OFF Sequence.

Inspect the pipework and fittings for any signs of leaks.

Rectify the cause of any leaks.

Check the Coolant level. Add more Coolant if necessary.

Using the handle located on the Cooler Assembly tray, carefully lift and install the
Cooler Assembly on the rail and slide it back into position.
Note
Check to make sure that no hose lines are twisted or pinched.

Close and lock the front door.

Carry out the Power ON Sequence.

Reset the water run-time hours to zero.
