Horizon Form #5
Use Form #5 as a guide for inputting the meter con-
nection address and to set the calibration (pulses per
unit) for each meter.
NOTE: Port numbers 7 to 12 are available for meters.
Set Meter Calibration
1. The cursor will be in the METER NUMBER field.
The system will scroll through each of the meters
as they were numbered on the previous ASSGN
CONN screens.
2. Press ENTER on the keypad to move the cursor to
the CM# field.
3. Type the number of the control module that con-
trols the meter for this dispense point. Take this
information from Form #5. In this example the
entry would be CM# 02.
4. Press ENTER on the keypad to move the cursor to
the PORT# field.
5. Type the number of the port the meter is con-
nected to. In this example the entry would be
PORT# 07.
6. Press ENTER on the keypad to move the cursor to
the PULSES PER [unit] field.
7. Type the number of pulses. In this example the
entry would be 200. The units of measure appear
on the screen as they were entered in the FLUIDS
screens.

Only integers between 1 and 9999 will be
accepted for the calibration factor.

I f using P/N 238618 Meter (for oil), set cal-
ibration at:
100 pulses per pint,
200 pulses per quart,
800 pulses per gallon, or
211 pulses per liter

If using P/N 215474 Meter (for antifreeze and
washer fluid), set calibration at:
5 pulses per pint,
10 pulses per quart,
40 pulses per gallon, or
11 pulses per liter

Start with the nominal value and adjust the
value as needed to increase accuracy. If the
dispense is slightly less than requested, make
the number of pulses slightly higher (as it
requires more pulses to equal a higher
amount). If the dispense is slightly higher than
requested, make the number a little lower.
8. After inputting the calibration factor, press ENTER
to move the cursor to MORE. Press ENTER to
repeat the screen for each meter.
9. When all the connections for each dispense point
have been assigned, use the

or
"
key to move
the cursor to EXIT and press ENTER.
NOTE: If you enter MORE after all the data has been
entered, the screen will scroll back to METER
NUMBER : 001. Use the arrow keys to move the
cursor to EXIT.
10. After EXIT is entered, the SAVE SETUP verifica-
tion screen will appear.
11. Scroll to YES by pressing the
#
or
"
key.
12. Press ENTER on the keypad to save the setup
options.
