Computer: Receiving Horizon Data

Windows 95

Saving Horizon Job Records to

the Computer

Follow these steps to save the Horizon job records to

the computer disk. You can save the job records to files

with each day’s date (for example: 11--19--97.TXT). If

the job records are not saved, they will scroll off the

terminal program screen and the information will be

lost.

1. When you want to save data from the Horizon

system to the computer disk, pull down the Hyper-

Terminal

Transfer

menu and select

Capture Text

2. Make sure the

Save Files of Type

is set to

Text

Files (*.TXT)

3. Select the desired

Drive

and

Directory

where you

want the Horizon data to be saved.

4. Type in the desired

File

name.

5. Select

Start
