12. Entering CLEAR PRINTER BUF. will clear the
printer buffer. Only use this option with printer
part no. 113774.
13. The CAN screen has the following options:
CONTINUOUS CAN COMM: Not implemented in
this software version.
MANUALLY TEST CAN: Use to test the CAN con-
nections between control modules. If the MANU-
ALLY TEST CAN option is selected, the TEST
CAN screen will appear. The other control module
keypad must also be at the TEST CAN screen.
Type in a couple alpha numeric keys in the Xmit
(transmit) field. If the network is transmitting prop-
erly, those characters should then appear in the
other keypad’s Rcv (receive) field. Press ENTER to
clear the Xmit field of the TEST CAN screen.
CAN LEDs: Use to check the operation of the three
LEDs located on the left side of the J2 connector in
the control module. The LEDs can be turned off
and on by toggling the Off/On selection on the
CAN LEDs screen.
Any LEDs that are turned on while using the CAN
LEDs screen should be turned off before exiting
the screen.
14. The TRANSACTIONS screen is only available on
the Master Control Module and can be used to test
the printer or computer connection. A confirmation
screen will appear. If YES is selected, the transac-
tion table fills with test data, which prints out in
computer or printer format, depending on what was
selected during setup. See page 37. See page 40
for information on computer output. The transac-
tion table is then cleared and the system exits.
NOTE: The transaction report can include as many
as 700 records. To stop the printing, take the
printer off-line.
CAUTION
Selecting the transactions screen will clear all the
previous transactions.
