Options

A.3.1

Option 20: High Power RF Out

Option 20 provides the instrument maximum power specification changed to +20 dBm if installed.
This change is accomplished by adding a pair of amplifiers and a coaxial relay. The coaxial relay is used
to either bypass the amplifiers (for set points below +11 dBm) or place them in the circuit when the
power requested is +11 dBm or higher. The operation of the relay is automatic, based on the requested
power unless high power is disabled. The ALC menu has an entry for high power that allows either
Automatic operation or disable mode. The table below lists the specifications that are changed when
Option 20 is active. Specifications apply from 0

Option 22: Rear Panel RF Output Connector

Option 22 provides the RF output connector which is relocated to the Series 12000A’s rear panel if
installed. Option 22 can be installed with or without Option 26.

Option 23: Type N RF Output Connector

Option 23 changes the RF output connector to Type N if installed.
