Ramp Power Sweep Configuration

(Series 12700A Only)

Use this feature to set up a Ramp Power sweep. Figure 2-20 illustrates the Ramp Power Sweep menu. A
Ramp Power sweep starts at a power level, which must designated, and runs continuously until it reaches
a stop level. The Ramp sweep can be run as a single sweep or continuously. There are no step options
associated with the Ramp Power Sweep.

Excessive Attenuator Switching will shorten its life (Option 26).

There are several parameters to be setup in this application. Move the cursor to highlight the specific
parameter to be set, then look at the options for that parameter by pressing the up or down Step key.
Additional options can be selected with the softkeys to set up a dual Frequency-Power sweep (See
below).
