3-68
Publication 31231, Rev J, October 2003
PA
Syntax:
PA
d
DM
Example:
PA 2 DM
! Set the Ramp Power Sweep start to 2 dBm
Description:
Sets the start power for a Ramp Power Sweep to
d
[DM], where
d
is the power (a decimal
number with possible decimal point and/or exponent) and [DM] is the units terminator. If a
Ramp Power Sweep was not running, the PA command starts it running and; if it was
running, restarts the sweep.
If the PA command is sent with no variable it makes start power the active variable. If a
Ramp Power Sweep was not running, the PA command starts it running and; if it was
running, restarts the sweep.
PB
Syntax:
PB
d
DM
Example:
PB 8 DM
! Set the Ramp Power Sweep stop to 8 dBm
Description:
Sets the stop power for a Ramp Power Sweep to
d
[DM], where
d
is the power (a decimal
number with possible decimal point and/or exponent) and [DM] is the units terminator. If a
Ramp Power Sweep was not running, the PB command starts it running and; if it was
running, restarts the sweep. If the PB command is sent with no variable, it makes stop
power the active variable. If a Ramp Power Sweep was not running, the PB command
starts it running and; if it was running, restarts the sweep.
PC
Syntax:
PC
d
[S | MS | US]
Example:
PC 5 MS
! Set the Ramp Power Sweep time to 5 ms
Description:
Sets the time for a Ramp Power Sweep to
d
[S | MS | US], where
d
is the time (a decimal
number with possible decimal point and/or exponent) and [S | MS | US] is the units
terminator. If a Ramp Power Sweep was not running, the PC command starts it running
and; if it was running, restarts the sweep. If the PC command is sent with no variable it
makes Power Sweep time the active variable. If a Ramp Power Sweep was not running,
the PC command starts it running and; if it was running, restarts the sweep.
PS
Syntax:
PS
Example:
PS 1
! Activate Ramp Power Sweep
Description:
This command activates (PS 1) or deactivates (PS 0) the Ramp Power Sweep.
RS
Syntax:
RS
Example:
N/A
Description:
This command restarts the current Sweep. The sweep is interrupted and reset to the start
frequency. All other parameters remain unchanged.
