FREQuency:MODE

Syntax:

FREQuency:MODE CW|FIXed|SWEep|LIST|SENSe

Example 1:

FREQuency:MODE CW

! Set the CW commands to control the frequency subsystem

Example 2:

FREQuency:MODE LIST

! Set the List commands to control the frequency subsystem

Description:

This command establishes which set of commands will be used to control the

frequency subsystem. The settings have the following meanings:

CW|FIXed:

The frequency is determined by FREQuency[:CW]

or [:FIXed]. CW and FIXed are interchangeable,

both must be implemented if either is implemented.

SWEep:

The source is in the swept mode and the frequency

is determined by FREQuency:STARt, STOP,

CENTer, SPAN, and MAN (manual).

LIST:

The source is in the LIST sequence mode and the

frequency is determined by LIST:FREQuency

(Refer to the LIST subsystem commands in this

section).

FREQuency:SPAN

Syntax:

FREQuency:SPAN <

Num_Val

> [HZ | KZ | MZ | GZ]

Example:

FREQuency:SPAN 200 MZ

! Set the frequency span to 200 MHz

Description:

This command sets the sweep frequency span.

FREQuency:SPAN?

Syntax:

FREQuency:SPAN?

Description:

This is the query form to report the SPAN of the sweep frequency.

FREQuency:STARt

Syntax:

FREQuency:STARt <

Num_Val

> [HZ | KZ | MZ | GZ]

Example:

FREQuency:STARt 200 HZ

! Set the sweep starting frequency to 200 kHz

Description:

This command sets the STARt frequency. It also sets the lower limit of a manual

sweep.

FREQuency:STARt?

Syntax:

FREQuency:STARt?

Description:

This is the query command to report the STARt frequency.
