*OPC?
Syntax: *OPC?
Description:
This query form places an ASCII character 1 into the device’s output queue when all pending
selected device operations have been finished. Unlike the *OPC command, the *OPC?
query does not affect the OPC Event bit in the Standard Event Status Register (ESR).
*RST
Syntax: *RST
Description:
The Reset command sets the device-specific functions to a known state (the power-on state)
that is independent of the past-use history of the device. The command does not reset any
part of the status reporting system.
*TST?
Syntax:
*TST?
Description:
No external equipment is required to run the self-test. Disconnect any equipment that is
connected to the RF Output before running the self-test as the synthesizer might generate
high output power during the test. When the self-test is complete, the synthesizer is set to
the original state.
Self-test performs a list of various frequency and power levels to assure the instrument
responds normally. A message, “Self-test passed” returns if no errors are found during the
test or else returns the synthesizer to the frequency and power level that caused the test
failure.
The Self-Test query command causes the synthesizer to perform a self-test routine. See the
notes below concerning Self-Test. The Self-Test routine will preserve (save and later
restore) these states:
RF On/Off State
CW Frequency Value
Power Level Coarse Value
Power Level Fine Value
OPAS
Syntax: OPAS
Response: Returns a string containing the status of Loc, Level and Calibration
Description:
This command oupts the Lock, Level and Calibration status. A “1” represents Locked,
leveled, or calibrated respectively; a “0” represents unlocked, unleveled, or un-calibrated
respectively.
