Front Panel Operation

2.1

Introduction

This chapter describes how to operate the Series 12000A Microwave Synthesizer from its front panel.
Use the list below for reference. Sectional header page references are only provided for items pertaining
directly to application examples.

Front Panel Description

The Series 12000A front panel contains the controls and display for complete local operation of the
instrument. Front panel controls are grouped according to functions performed. Descriptions of the
controls are referenced to the blocked numbers illustrated in Figure 2-1 on the next page for all models.
