Syntax:

POWer:STEP?

Description:

This query form discovers the present step size.

POWer:MODE

Syntax:

POWer:MODE FIXed|SWEep|LIST

Example 1:

POWer:MODE SWEep

! Set the SWEep commands to control the amplitude subsystem

Example 2:

POWer:MODE LIST

! Set the List commands to control the amplitude subsystem

Description:

This command establishes which set of commands will be used to control the amplitude

subsystem. The settings have the following meanings:

FIXed:

The power amplitude is determined by the LEVel command

under the appropriate subsystem.

SWEep:

The source is in the swept mode and the amplitude is

determined by STARt, STOP, CENTer, SPAN and MANual

commands under the appropriate subsystem.

LIST:

The source is in the LIST mode and the amplitude is determined

by the appropriate amplitude list, such as LIST (refer to the LIST

subsystem commands in this section).

POWer:STARt

Syntax:

POWer:STARt

Example:

POWer:STARt 5

! Set the sweep starting power to 5 dB

Description:

This command sets the STARt power level. It also sets the lower limit of a manual sweep.

POWer:STOP

Syntax:

POWer:STOP <

Num_Val

Example:

POWer:STOP -7

! Set the sweep stop power level to -7 dB

Description:

This command sets the STOP power level. It also sets the upper limit of a manual sweep.
