FREQuency Subsystem Commands

The Frequency subsystem commands control the frequency sweep characteristics of the 12000A. This
subsystem includes the following commands:

! Set the unit to CW frequency of 1000 HZ

Description:

The CW or FIXed mode selects a frequency of a non-swept signal. Optional units in

place of HZ are MIN, MAX, UP, or DOWN. The commands FREQuency[:CW] and

FREQuency[:FIXed] are synonymous; either command specifies a fixed frequency

for the synthesizer.

Syntax:

FREQuency?

Description:

This command queries and reports the current CW/Fixed frequency.

FREQuency[:CW|:FIXed]:RES

Syntax:

FREQuency:RES <

Num_Val

> [HZ | KZ | MZ | GZ]

Example:

FREQuency:RES 100

! Set the CW frequency resolution to 100 Hz

Description:

This command sets the absolute increment/decrement at which the frequency of the

output signal can be changed. The default value is HZ.
