Fixed Frequency/Level Commands

These commands set or control parameters to operate the instrument in fixed frequency and/or fixed
output level modes.

Syntax:

[HZ | KZ | MZ | GZ]

Example:

CW 12 GZ

! Set the frequency to 12 GHz

! CW Puts the instrument into CW mode

Description:

This command puts the instrument into CW mode and sets the CW frequency to

[HZ | KZ |

MZ | GZ]. Here

is a decimal number with possible decimal point and/or exponent and [HZ |

KZ | MZ | GZ] is an optional terminator denoting the units in which

is expressed. No

terminator implies Hz. (

NOTE:

If the CW command is sent with no variable the instrument will

return to CW mode at the last frequency entered).

Description:

This command will increment the CW frequency by the minimum resolvable step. This is

normally 0.1 Hz, unless Option 36 (1 kHz resolution) is present.

! Set power to -6.2 dBm

Description:

This command sets the CW power d dBm. The CW power is used during CW mode, step

frequency sweep and ramp frequency sweep.
