2.3.22

Interface Configuration

To configure the GPIB interface use the menu shown in Figure 2-30. To access the menu press the

[CONFIG]

key then press the

GPIB

softkey.

GPIB Address

This sets the GPIB address; the default is 6.

Language

This sets the language and the command set that the 12000A will recognize.
The choices are the 12000A native command set, SCPI and Systron-Donner
emulation.

Line Term.

Line Termination: this allows selection of the character that denotes the end
of a command line.

GPIB Display

This sets the display when the unit is in remote operation. Choices where the
display does not have to update allow fastest operation of the 12000A.

Out of Bounds

This sets how the 12000A will respond to a parameter that is not at a recog-
nized value. (e.g., “CW 100 GZ”).
