connectors und the Teflon-
ferrules with hole.

Ensure that the distance
between ferule and
column end is about 5
mm.

Put the new capillary
column into the oven. If
necessary cut the ends of
the column.

Connect the capillary-
column-connector using
two 8 mm open-end-
wrench.
