9.4.2 Execution of an ambient air measurement using syringes

The analysis of the ambient air may indicate volatile compounds that do not originate

from the subject/

patient’s breath but are present in the air.

To analyze the ambient air follow the steps described in chapter 9.4.1. The ambient

air can be sampled directly into a syringe.
