2. Operating System and Equipment
- After the engine starts and works for
some time, the needle should point the
4~5 major sections.
- When all 1-8 red sections are lit, this
indicates the current engine coolant tem-
perature is too high. Then, the coolant
temperature indicator light in the com-
bination instrument is lit and the buzzer
alarms to alert the driver. At this moment,
stop the car and turn off the engine.
Inspect coolant level ( please refer to
page 312) .
Note
• If the engine coolant temperature is
high, do not continue driving even
if the coolant level is normal, unless
the temperature reaches the nor-
mal range. If the temperature stays
high, go to your GAC MOTOR dealer
for inspection and maintenance as
soon as possible.
• If additional part is installed at air
inlet, it may reduce cooling effect of
coolant. The engine overheats eas-
ily at high ambient temperature and
when the engine running under high
load.
Warning
Open the hood, and read and comply with
the relevant warning notices for the en-
gine compartment before operation(see
page 76).
2. : Fuel gauge, to in-
dicate the current fuel remaining in the
tank.
- There is a total of eight sections, indicat-
ing the range of E ~ F, in which, the left
side represents the fuel tank is empty,
and the right side represents the fuel
tank is full. An appropriate number of
sections is illuminated depending on the
residual fuel. The un-illuminated sections
are black.
- When the red minor section of the first
section is lit only or no section is lit, this
indicates that the fuel in the tank is less
than 8L, and the low fuel-level indicator
light of the combination instrument is lit
to remind the driver of shortage of fuel.
Be sure to refuel as soon as possible.

- Briefly press (less than 3S) DISP to
